Description
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) is a forward-looking and innovative Trust providing a wide range of mental health, dementia, learning disability, and autism services to a population of over 768,000 people across Lincolnshire. Our team of 3,000 dedicated professionals work tirelessly to deliver outstanding care for people across our 50 sites, as well as in people’s homes, work, schools, and communities. With an annual turnover exceeding £190 million, we are a key part of the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System, committed to improving outcomes for our population. Our strategy 2024 – 2029 and vision 'to support people to live well in their communities' sets out our ambitions to work as part of the Lincolnshire system to make a positive difference to the lives of those we serve.
This is an exciting opportunity for a values-driven and inclusive leader to join our Board as our new Chief Medical Officer. Playing a central role on our Board, you will provide visible and inspirational leadership to our medical and wider clinical teams, ensuring a culture of improvement, learning, accountability, and transparency. Building on our ambition to become a national leader in research around mental health in rural and coastal communities, you will play a critical role in embracing medical research; embracing digital innovation, continuous improvement and opportunities for new roles and care models that will further improve clinical effectiveness and outcomes.
We are seeking a medical leader and experienced Psychiatrist, operating at or close to Board level with exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Quickly building credible relationships with colleagues across the Trust and the system, you will bring a track record of driving service improvement, patient safety, and clinical innovation. A strategic and compassionate medical leader; you will create a compelling and inspiring vision that will engage our multi-professional workforce and align to our vision and values. As our senior medical professional, you will champion mental health, dementia, learning disability, and autism services across the system, to reduce health inequalities, and deliver better access, experience, and outcomes for the populations we serve.
The Trust is committed to promoting equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. We actively encourage and welcome applications from people from minority ethnic communities, people with disabilities/long term health conditions, people from the LGBTQ+ community, and people who identify with any of the protected characteristics.
